training sessions:
Product / Sales Training (2 hours)
Minimum # of participants: 15

- Understanding
the features and benefits of your value-added checking program
is the key to obtaining sales goals. This session is primarily
designed for new account representatives as well as tellers and
other branch employees. We at Progeny Marketing Innovations know that product knowledge
coupled with practical sales tip applications is critical to your
program's success. During this training session we will:
- explain each
feature detailing how to receive it, how to use it, and the value
it provides the member
- provide examples
of successful usage to reinforce the ease and success of this
program
- provide an
overview of how to present the value-added checking account by
emphasizing needs analysis and value-focused selling
- examine the
importance of effective needs analysis using group discussions
and brainstorming to generate specific approaches
- evaluate
various types of objections, how to handle them, and how to effectively
ask for the business
Sales Training (1.5 hours)
Minimum # of participants: 15
Maximum # of participants: 25
- Designed
for branch employees who have the essential understanding of the
program features and benefits and would like a more in-depth look
at how to successfully sell the program. This training session
will:
- demonstrate
how to properly greet
- examine the
importance of effective needs analysis using "hands-on"
activities and motivational discussion
- identify
value-oriented selling, with specific explanation of how to incorporate
mention of program features and benefits that is a direct reflection
of the prospect
- evaluate
various types of objections, how to handle them, and how to effectively
ask for the business
Mystery Shop / Results Training (1.5 hours)
Minimum # of participants: 15
Maximum # of participants: N/A
- Partnered
with a mystery shop, this training is designed to address the
issues revealed through mystery shopping results. During this
training session we will:
- emphasize
positive results of the shop, including customer service and sales
skills
- provide constructive
suggestions for improvement, including information on how to approach
sales opportunities in a more effective manner
- re-address
necessary information to be covered about the non-financial benefits
Telemarketing / Product Training (2 hours)
Minimum # of participants: 15
Maximum # of participants: N/A
- Designed
for branch personnel who make outbound calls. This training session
will:
- explain each
feature detailing how to receive it, how to use it, and the value
it provides the member
- provide creative
telephone selling tips
- illustrate
methods for making "courtesy" follow-up phone calls
- demonstrate
sample telephone calling techniques
Teller Referral / Product Training (1.5 hours)
Minimum # of participants: 15
Maximum # of participants: N/A
A training program designed for tellers. This training session will:
- explain each
feature detailing how to receive it, how to use it, and the value
it provides
- discuss examples
of cues mentioned in conversation resulting in sales opportunities
- validate
the importance of teamwork and the importance of the teller-customer
relationship to the financial institution
Tic-Tac-Toe Product Knowledge Training (10 minute review
to 1 hour game)
Minimum # of participants: 15
Maximum # of participants: N/A
Benefit-review
the fun way! Using the popular game as a basic guide, we will review
the value-added checking program by testing the trainee's knowledge
of the program features and benefits. This may be used to reinforce
or conclude the Product Knowledge Training. This training session
includes:
- open-ended,
true/false, or multiple choice questions
- questions
answered by an individual or a team effort
Top Performaire
Product Knowledge Training (15 minute review to 2 hour game)
Minimum # of participants: 15
Maximum # of participants: N/A
Using
the popular game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire as a guide,
review the value-added checking program by testing the trainee's
knowledge of the program features and benefits. As "contestants"
answer questions and questions arise, the benefits are reviewed.
Top Performaire may be used as an end review during training, if
time permits, and is most effective when conducted solo in a re-promotion
training. This training session includes:
- multiple
choice questions
- questions
answered by an individual or a team effort
